In a capitalistic society, where even crowdfunding platforms, a sort of bottom up facilitator, seem to not be immune to this mechanism, SoFu tries to introduce a more horizontal and honest tool for the creation of projects and funding campaigns.
Sometimes we just have to switch our point of view, in order to see where the problem lies and intervene to fix it.
SoFu does this right in the belly of the economic system that's creating inequality and destroying social justice.
Our crowdfunding platform does something counterintuitive but effective, hoping that people who are sick of the selfish way of making profit, will hop on this opportunity: on SoFu, if you need a certain amount of money, we'll help you reach your goal, giving people the opportunity to save money, while supporting you.
The mechanism is simple: once you reach your goal, the more supporters you gather, the less everyone has to pay (learn how it works).

2 - people will save money;
3 - you're no longer the only one rooting for your campaign to reach its goal, but every supporter will be more than interested in spreading the word of your project, in order to find more supporters and save money (the true meaning of "strength in numbers")!
We participated in a lot of crowdfunding campaigns and we created some on other platforms, but we couldn't stop feeling that something was inherently wrong, by our social and horizontal way of thinking; we felt exploited and exploiting, while we just wanted to help and find help.
This platform aims to create an economic structure that doesn't create a gap between people with ideas and people who need and want those ideas to thrive. And since this society has fueled disparity, injustice and greed, we just want to move towards a little balance, towars something better, more open, less cruel.
That's why we hope people will use SoFu for creative projects, but we're sure it will help a lot of people collect the money they need for their charity projects (we know that for these campaigns, the more you gather, the better (there will be a mechanism that will help with this aspect), but our goal is helping people easily reach their goal, and we're sure we're creating one of the best platforms for this).
